High-traffic, Residential Area in Albany
The harrowing incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, just after 5 PM, near Stewart's on Delaware Avenue in Albany. Delaware Avenue is a high-traffic residential and commercial area close to many schools, restaurants, and businesses.
It's also a main artery if you're heading from Albany into Delmar and Bethlehem, and it's a road I use pretty frequently, taking my son to and from school, camp, and his mom's house in Bethlehem.
Killer Still At-Large
Albany Police say that Grier and the suspect were in an argument, which led to the suspect shooting Grier in his car and fleeing on foot. In the video below, the alleged suspect is seen firing multiple shots at Grier during broad daylight in the high-traffic area of Albany.
According to a report from News Channel 13, Victory Christian Church in Albany is about 10 minutes from the Stewarts, where the incident occurred.
They are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the shooting.
