Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, multiple storms are tracking toward the Northeast.

Mother Nature always has impeccable timing!

As we get ready to hit the road for one of the busiest travel holidays of the year, forecasters are calling multiple storm systems to move into the region over the course of the week.

One of them could hinder Thanksgiving travel for many in the Empire State.

According to News Channel 13, the unsettled weather will start with widespread rain on Tuesday morning which should dissipate Tuesday afternoon. If you are traveling on Wednesday, conditions will remain dry with temperatures in the mid-40s.

The real fun will then start with another storm system Thanksgiving Day which will bring colder air and a chance of snow or rain.

The Weather Channel says on Thanksgiving Day "...much of the interior Northeast and northern New England could see a wintry mix and/or snow for Thanksgiving..." with mostly rain along the Route 95 corridor along the coast.

News Channel 13 says the track of this storm will determine how much snow and or rain we get, and a shift south could limit how much precipitation we get.

We will pass along potential snowfall expectations as they come into focus later this week.

Hopefully, this storm turns into nothing more than a nuisance that could slow your travel time, but won't prevent you from getting to your Thanksgiving destination.
