SPAC Concert-Goers Adjusting to the New Lawn Chair Policy
New Lawn Chair Policy at SPAC
GNAtion: Will you be at SPAC tonight? If so, we hope to see you there. We'll have seat upgrades and even a chance to meet Tucker Wetmore!
A few weeks back, concert-goers had a chance to check out the lawn situation at SPAC, which is a little different this year than in previous years.
If you're heading to the Thomas Rhett concert, this is a subtle reminder that you cannot bring your chairs.

You may have heard by now, and if you were at the Jason Aldean show over Memorial Day Weekend, you experienced it.
New in 2025, NO outside chairs will be permitted inside the venue only for Live Nation shows, a significant change for music fans who are used to bringing in their lawn chairs.
My First Impressions
I'm probably not the most qualified person to speak about the new policy at SPAC. I haven't attended a show intending to sit on the lawn in years, but I marvel at the people who can make it work.
It takes dedication, patience, decent balance, and good vision to find your spot after you've left for a few minutes to get a drink or use the bathroom.
True lawn diehards will have an issue with the policy change. Some say it's a money grab, while others will tell you it's not bad. They were surprised the $15 charge didn't happen sooner, as it has in other venues.
However, the results were mixed and a big shocker; many people on Facebook (where we posted the question) were either snarky, super-negative, or unenthused—and in some instances, all three.
For Me, I Liked The Change!
Getting in and out of SPAC was easier because there was less gridlock from people bringing in what seemed to be a week's worth of camping equipment. I also liked the look. A GNA listener described it as "uniform," which I thought was accurate.
