See The Latest New York Snowfall Predictions For Wednesday Night
It is not officially winter yet, but the season is already getting off to a fast start with more snow arriving in Upstate and Central New York Wednesday into Thursday.
National Weather Service Issues Winter Storm Watch
Fresh off of a foot of snow for some areas Thanksgiving Day, the National Weather Service predicts widespread snow Wednesday into Thursday across New York and has issued a WInter Storm Watch for parts of Upstate and Central New York.
Hamilton, Northern Fulton, Northern Herkimer, and Southern Herkimer Counties could see 7 inches of snow or more with wind gusts of 35 mph.
While totals will not be as high, accumulating snow is also expected to fall across the Capital Region with a dusting to an inch in the Hudson Valley, making for a messy commute on Thursday morning.
How Much Snow Will We Get Across The Region?
Snowfall totals will range from couple of inches in the greater Albany area with around half a foot possible on the eastern and western edges of the Capital Region.
