The Country Corner Cafe has been a legendary Saratoga Springs destination for breakfast for 32 years, and the foodie experts at LoveFood have named the eatery New York state's best mom-and-pop restaurant for comfort food in determining their 50 best spots nationwide for a down-home meal.

The cafe has been a Spa City favorite for breakfast, and LoveFood says "Upstate New York isn't short on super-cute, mom-and-pop style restaurants, and The Country Corner Cafe is one of the most popular...It's open until lunchtime each day, but breakfast is the real draw here. Try the Southern Benedict, with spicy turkey sausage and fried green tomatoes."
