Capital Region Brewery Named Best In The Nation

A New York state brewery with locations throughout the state has been named one of the best in the nation.

One of the great things about living in Upstate New York, and well anywhere in the state, is the multitude of amazing breweries, cideries, and distilleries producing some of the finest adult beverages. According to Statista, as of 2022, New York had the 3rd most breweries in the nation at 504, trailing only California and Pennsylvania in that category.

Maybe it's the great local water, or maybe it's the brewer-friendly New York legislation that has been put in place over the years to promote and help the industry, but no matter what the reason, if you love beer - New York is a great place to be.

New York Brewery In Clifton Park, Syracuse, & NYC Is Best In Nation

With all the great breweries in New York, it is no surprise that one is being recognized as one of the best in the country by the beer experts at Untappd. Coming in at #24 on their list?

Singlcut Brewery! Singlecut was of course born in Queens in New York City, but they also have locations in Syracuse and Clifton Park. If you have not been to the Clifton Park location, they took over the Schmaltz brewery location a few years ago and have done a great job creating an expanded taproom and outdoor seating area to dine at the various food trucks that set up shop at the location.

As a Clifton Park resident, I can personally verify this is a great spot, A wide selection of beers are always on tap, and the food trucks are great too - one of my faves Cousins Maine Lobster is known to spend some time there!
