Old Farmer's Almanac Reveals Summer 2026 Extended Weather Outlook
With the up-and-down weather we have experienced this spring, hot summer days still seem like a distant possibility. But according to the extended weather outlook from the Old Farmer's Almanac, those scorching days will be plentiful in the months ahead.
The Almanac has revealed its outlook for summer 2026, and you should get that tune-up done now on your AC system, as forecasters are calling for a 'hot and dry' season for Upstate New York.
Regionally, the Almanac says areas in the southern tier could be cool and dry, while western areas of the state can expect more rain with hot temperatures.
Only time will tell how hot it actually gets this summer. While it feels like warmer temperatures have been the local norm over the last few years, this past winter told us that Upstate New York chill is never far away.
