Upstate NY September Weather Outlook

As we enjoy Labor Day Weekend and one last blast of summer, what can we expect weather-wise in the month ahead?

Some forecasters, like the Farmers' Almanac and Olde Farmer's Almanac, are predicting an overall cool and dry fall.

But before we get deeper into autumn, we may be saying milder temperatures for the last fleeting days of summer and the start of fall.

Could cooler temperatures be held at bay? The Weather Channel says yes! In its outlook for September, the Weather Channel is predicting temperatures to be seasonable over the next month, with highs expected to be in the sweet spot in the 70s to slightly above average. This usually means some pretty picture-perfect September days where those shorts and flip flops could still be desired attire!
