Whiskey Myers Returns to Capital Region for Special Acoustic Show
Whiskey Myers announces a special acoustic tour with a stop in the Capital Region.
Whiskey Myers has been writing, recording and touring for nearly 20 years. Just last summer the band from Texas was the support act for the Hank Williams Jr. show at Saratoga Performing Arts Center. This summer Whiskey Myers will play Syracuse on Thursday August 28th with the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Now it's time to plan for winter.
The Whiskey Myers and Friends Acoustic Tour will visit the Palace Theatre, 19 Clinton Avenue, in Albany on Friday December 12, 2025 at 7:30pm. Tickets for this performance will go on sale to the general public on Friday August 1st at 10am HERE.
The 'and friends' part of the Whiskey Myers and Friends Acoustic Tour will be special guests Bones Owens and Rob Leines.
Whiskey Myers is Cody Cannon on lead vocals and guitar, John Jeffers on guitars, Cody Tate with rhythm guitar, drummer Jeff Hogg, Tony Kent on keys and percussion and Jamey Gleaves on bass guitar.
In 2018, Whiskey Myers was featured in four episodes of Taylor Sheridan's television Yellowstone starring Kevin Costner. These episodes helped expose the band to new fans and their popularity took a big jump up.
Whiskey Myers are expected to release their latest album 'Whomp Whack Thunder' on September 26, 2025. This will be their first new album in 3 years. If you are looking for song suggestions to get started as a Whiskey Myers fan, I suggest the following:
