The 'One Bite Pizza Review', hosted by Dave Portnoy, started in 2017 as an attempt to reviewing every pizza place in Manhattan. Since that time Portnoy has scored shops from New York to Nevada, Connecticut to California and beyond. Generally speaking New York joints perform well but how did this Lake George shop do?

In a social media reel, released on Monday October 6th, we see Dave Portnoy sporting a Saratoga Race Course hat enamored with the pizza maker who Portnoy describes as "Straight out of Mario Brothers".

Portnoy spends more time fixated on the pizza maker at Number 1 Pizza than he does the slice is there to review. Perhaps that worked in the pizza joint's favor as the actual score given is more than decent.

To give some perspective, the One Bite Pizza Rankings are scored between 0 and 10 and only about 20 pizza shops have ranked above a 9. The best score currently given to an Upstate New York shop goes to Nove Italian Restaurant in Gansevoort, NY with a score of 8.6.
