What Should The Expectations For Daniel Jones This Season?
This is without a doubt a very big year for Daniel Jones as quarterback of the New York Giants. He is coming off of a torn ACL and has been plagued with injuries throughout his entire career. He has never had a good offensive line at any point and now the Giants are finally adding pieces around him thanks to Joe Schoen. Pressure is also on head coach Brian Daboll because the Giants under achieved and regressed last year. You just hope Jones can stay healthy this season because otherwise the Giants might be looking elsewhere at quarterback. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
If Daniel Jones can stay healthy, he’s more than capable of leading the Giants to a respectable season but that’s a big if. Jones missed most of last season and seems to never make it through an entire season with missing time because of an injury. Jones is an above average quarterback and if the Giants can provide him some protection, he finally has a big-time receiver in Malik Nabers to throw the ball to this season. Giants won't make the playoffs, but Jones and Nabers can provide Giants' fans with plenty of excitement this season.
The Giants will get in between seven and nine wins and I think Jones will have a good year. I have always been a Daniel Jones supporter since day one. Thank you to the New York Giants again for letting us be a part of the training camp at the Quest Diagnostics Center in East Rutherford New Jersey on Thursday.
