A bunch of high school students were arrested and charged after a crazy high school prank where school officials were not having it.

The incident happened at a high school in Western New York, Jamestown High School in 2015. Do you remember the attention that this prank got? It reached national coverage for what officials at the high school were calling 'havoc'.

What happened to the prank in Jamestown, New York?

They put TONS of red and green glitter throughout the hallways of the high school and then tied all of the lockers together by taking wire and basically turning it into a massive web so that nobody could open up their locker. To get into the school, they used a crowbar that did damage at the point of entry.

What was the punishment for the prank?

The students faced at the time fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal tampering charges.

All of the kids except for one were 18 years old. Was a felony charge too harsh of a punishment? Do you remember what your high school senior prank was?

Senior pranks happened so much more when we were kids as officials now are cracking down on the pranks. I went to Lancaster and there were a few good pranks over the years. There was a time where there were pigs that were let loose through the hallways which is a classic. Another time the Seniors took bouncy balls and dropped them down all the stair wells and, as you can imagine, they bounced ALL over the place and was quite a problem cleaning up.
