Dirty Honey “Can’t Find The Brakes Tour” 10/09/24 – Empire Live
Hometown boy Marc Labelle had a triumphant homecoming last night in Albany at a packed Empire Live. The Niskayuna native and his Los Angeles based band have been road warriors over the past few years, touring with the likes of Guns N Rose and Black Crowes. Joining Labelle in Dirty Honey is the rhythm section of Justin Smolian on bass and drummer Jaydon Bean. They lay down the groove while John Notto offers up incendiary leads. DH is one of the best live bands touring today. If you haven't seen DH live yet, do not wait. Get out, see as show.

Concert Review: Cage The Elephant at The Broadview Stage at SPAC
Bowling Green, Kentucky natives Cage The Elephant brought their "Neon Pill" tour to the Broadview Stage at SPAC on Sunday August 18. The tour is named after the band's 2024 release of the same name. That record, released in January of this year is Cage the Elephant's sixth studio album.

Concert Preview: Megadeth – “Destroy All Enemies Tour” this week at MVP Arena
Grammy Award winning Heavy Metal Legends Megadeth are bringing their "Destroy All Enemies" tour to Albany's MVP Arena on Tuesday September 10, 2024 at 6:30PM. Dave Mustaine and company will be bringing along fellow metal titans, Mudvayne and All That Remains to open the show. Megadeth is touring in support of their sixteenth studio album 2022's "The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead!" There will be something for fans from all eras of Megadeth's nearly forty year career. During recent dates on the tour, Mustaine has pulled out tracks from ten of the sixteen studio albums. They have even dusted off some deep cuts, playing "Washington is Next" from 2007's United Abominations for the first time since 2009 just the other night.

Joe Bonamassa’s Blues Deluxe Tour at Albany’s Palace Theater
Blues rock guitar titan Joe Bonamassa brought his 2024 "Blues Deluxe" tour to Albany's historic Palace Theatre on Tuesday night. His fourteen song setlist was heavy on classic blues covers with some of his original material thrown in for good measure. Bonamassa is widely regarded as one of the best guitar players alive. Guitar World magazine calls him "arguably the world's biggest blues guitarist." He showed why on Tuesday night. His leads were incendiary and his phrasing impeccable. Very few guitarists can cover B.B. King, Freddie King and Guitar Slim he way Joe does. He finds a way to honor the original songs while simultaneously bringing his own distinct flavor to the songs. Bonamassa has a staggering twenty-seven number one albums.
